Cobb County is Still Hot!

By October 2, 2018No Comments

Contrary to dome national reports our market is still hot! Looking at August of 2018 compared of August of 2017 almost every indicator is positive. The only exception – The Number of new lisitng is down by 11% which has taken the number of active listing down by 16% (Listings are Selling.) Median Price is $271,787 (up 9.9%) and $ per square foot is up 7.4% to $119. Days on market remained constant at 46. The only note of caution is homes greater than $500,000 may require effort to get sold!

Cherokee County is also hot. The median price is up to $260,700 a September to September increase of 7% and actually has a few more homes not he market this year (46 more at 1306)

Short pitch – if you’re thinking of selling now if the time. I think we’ll look back in three years and say this was the peak!
